The owners of Concord General Store never intended to open up a gas station. However, when the situation presented itself, they quickly set about creating a spot that reminded them of stores they had stopped at along the highway during their childhood. Concord General Store lives by a motto, we’re not your typical gas station. Instead, we strive to be a haven off the highway; a place where people can stop to relax and recuperate from their drive.
Since our establishment, CGS has developed and evolved into what we are today, and we’re still evolving! We strive to offer unique product offerings and services, alongside the more typical ones of a gas station-convenience store.
In 2005, Concord General Store opened up the Concord Zoo, located behind the store. Here, customers can find cows, miniature horses, alpacas, ducks, chickens, and many more different types of animals to befriend. Concord Zoo was opened with the intention of providing an outlet for children and adults to reconnect with nature and animals. The best part? It’s a free zoo!
So, stop on by, for a minute or an hour, to grab a coffee, a sandwich, or to befriend a goat! We look forward to seeing you.

The Oconomowoc Summer Farmers’ Market has been a Saturday community tradition for over 40 years! It all started in 1980, when the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors began planning a weekly outlet for area farmers to sell produce. Initially coined as Farm Produce Days it was later renamed Oconomowoc Farmers’ Market.
Today the mission of the Oconomowoc Summer Farmers’ Market is to provide opportunities for local farmers to sell their produce directly to consumers and provide the community with fresh, local and healthy food; to provide a wholesome gathering place for people of all ages for education and socialization; to support local farmers; and to give promotional opportunities to Chamber members.
Market-goers can find a variety of goods including seasonal produce, spices, herbs, soups, handmade arts and crafts, baked goods, plants, honey, cheeses, jams, canned goods, maple syrup, breads, and farm fresh eggs and meats. A full list of farmers and vendors participating in the market will be published each year prior to the first day of market and this page will be updated weekly with a map of vendors attending in the current week. Patrons of the market are encouraged to return every week to see what is new or to make a purchase from their favorite vendor!
